The content of “Community in the Digital Age”, chapter 10, is about how new media developments make possible a reconfiguring of politics and culture and a refocusing of participatory democratic politics for everyday life. It illustrates the relation of online communities such as blog, Wikipedia and Internet activism. Since 9/11th , both left and right activist including terrorist has started to control their information on-line. The way of participating democratic politic has been developed by such activists on line, controlling the open source. It has developed by hackers, terrorists, activist organizations and the public. Those information shared by activists were mostly gathered in online communities and it produced new social relation and forms of democratic political possibility. The development of relation in online community results in both positive and negative. At least, in part a positive development is that opens radical possibilities for greater range of opininon, new modes of virtual and actual political communities, and novel forms of direct political action.

Reflection:
I strongly agree with the Feenberg’s idea of the online community liberated the participation of greater range of concept from mass numbers of people around the world in one ground. Many people are now linked in one ground to participate in politics by development of online community.
